The chief minister expressed his intention not to oppose the central government, seeking the Prime Minister’s assistance in advancing the state’s development.

“We aspire to contribute towards the ambitious goal of achieving a USD 5 trillion economy,” Reddy expressed.

Moreover, he mentioned that Hyderabad and Telangana are poised to support the nation’s progress, seeking financial aid for the metro rail initiative.

The Telangana state needed PM support for it to progress like Gujarat, Reddy said.

Modi, on a tour to Telangana ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, laid the foundation stone for over 30 development projects worth more than ₹56,000 crore in Adilabad on Monday. 

PM Modi inaugurated NTPC’s 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, along with other initiatives.

The project utilizes ultra-supercritical technology and is set to provide 85% of Telangana’s power supply. It will boast the highest power generation efficiency, around 42%, among all NTPC power stations nationwide.

Modi announced that projects totaling ₹56,000 crore are set to usher in a new era of development across multiple states.

He emphasized that India currently stands as the “sole nation” globally to have established itself as a significant economy, achieving an impressive 8.4% growth in the preceding quarter.

“At this rate, India is poised to rank as the world’s third largest economy,” he remarked.
