Today, in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Modi unveiled the 16th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, releasing over Rs. 21,000 crores during a ceremony.
Through this initiative, over 11 crore farmer families have received transfers exceeding Rs. 3 lakh crores in their accounts. Prime Minister Modi further disbursed the second and third installments of the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi’, amounting to approximately Rs. 3,800 crores, benefiting around 88 lakh farmers in Maharashtra.
The PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, launched by the central government in 2019, aims to offer farmers an annual financial aid of Rs. 6,000. This sum is seamlessly deposited into the farmers’ bank accounts through direct benefit transfers.
Here’s how to check if you’ve received benefits from the scheme:
1. Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana (pmkisan.gov.in).
2. Click on ‘Know Your Status’ on the homepage.
3. Please provide your registration number.
4.Please input the displayed captcha code on the screen.
5. Complete all necessary fields and then select ‘Get Details’ to proceed.
6. The status of your PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be shown on the screen.
