A standout feature is the optional matte paint finish. Functional enhancements in the explorer edition consist of off-road tires for enhanced traction, auxiliary lighting to boost visibility in low-light settings, and a tow hook for recovery purposes.

The production and launch of the Explorer are still unconfirmed, following the successful release of the updated 2023 Kushaq. The latest 2023 model introduces various enhancements such as powered and ventilated front seats, along with the reintroduction of the previously removed 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The standard Kushaq is available with three engine choices: a 1.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.5-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The 1.0-liter engine offers a blend of fuel efficiency and performance, while the 1.5-liter variants deliver enhanced power and driving dynamics. Should the explorer edition be introduced, it would feature the same engine options without any anticipated performance modifications.
