Hyderabad: 39 days later, normal activities returned in Telangana from this Sunday with the state government’s lifting of the lockdown wholly, following the drastic dropping in the number of the Covid-19 positive cases.
The fully impact of unlocking can be seen from Monday when the government of Telangana offices and other establishments will reopen completely with 100 percent employee strength.
The Telangana government has ruled the unlock orders, allowing all the activities that were permitted earlier to the imposing of the lockdown in the state.
The Telangana state cabinet, in its meeting which was held on Saturday, decided to lift the lockdown completely after the examining and reviewing the reports submitted by the Medical and Health Department officials that the number of Covid-19 positive cases have slowly come down and the pandemic situation is almost under control now in the state.

It also instructed the officials and heads from all the departments to lift all the restrictions which were imposed during the lockdown period in the state.
The cabinet also made it clear that the lifting of the lockdown must not lead to negligence behaviour of the people of Telangana.
Stating that the decisions were taken for the people’s benefits and to make sure that the livelihoods should not further incur losses, the cabinet sought people’s support and cooperation as well.

After the Cabinet decision, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has issued unlock orders. As per the Government Orders (GO), wearing of the face masks should be compulsory in public places, in the workplaces and also in means of the transport. Failure to wear a face mask will lead to a penalty of Rs 1,000. Individuals must maintain social distancing as well that too very strictly.
All the educational institutions and coaching centers have been allowed to re-open. Government schools and colleges can re-open from 1st of July.
