Now the Telangana Govt may not increase testing of Coronavirus cases. As the government had asked the local authorities in the state to focus on treatment first. The Plan for extension of lockdown had clearly specified the task, but the testing will not be the part of the game. The Govt of Telangana had planned for a mobile application which will be soon available on playstore to maintain and enter the data of all symptomatic people found in the fever survey.
A Change In Strategy of Telangana Govt for Covid-19 :
As per Govt of Telangana testing should be done only to the symptomatic. The main focus should be on treatment of the affected patients, not on testing. These are the instructions from top government functionaries to all the concerned departments. The Govt asked Health Officials to complete the second round of survey as soon as possible. The Health department said all symptomatic cases must be monitored on a daily basis. The collected data must consist of Name, age, gender and date of onset symptoms.
Among all important decisions Out-patient services will be started in all the government and private hospitals in Telangana. The District authorities are responsible to collect daily reports from hospitals from symptomatic patients and the medical kits given.
One of the most important instructions has also asked to monitor the oxygen supply on a daily basis and proning sessions must be done twice a day in all Government and Private hospitals. The number of patients in Government hospitals and its audit must be reported on a daily basis.

The roster must be released for all the medical department staff for Covid duty in wards. Apart from this the team of special officers would visit all Government and Private Hospitals regularly.
The Govt is encouraging the symptomatic patients to get home isolation. It is also advised that the patients with symptoms would be helped by the call center for their treatment.
