Hyderabad News: Telangana Covid Cases today reported less than 1,000 Coronavirus cases for the second day continuing on Monday.
A complete of 993 tests during the day took the total tally to over 6.21 lakh while the death toll remain at 3,644 with nine more dismisses.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) as usual reported for the highest number of Covid-19 cases with 124 followed by the Nalgonda district (78) and Suryapet district (72), a news says.
The number of telangana covid cases active now 13,869.
The total number of cases in the Telangana state stands at 6,21,606, while with 1,417 people being recovered, the total recoveries were at 6,04,093.
More than 1.12 lakh test samples were tested today. Increasingly , over 1.84 crore samples have been tested as of now.
The samples which tested per 10 lakh population were more than 4.95 lakh, the bulletin said.
The case of death rate in the state was 0.58% only, while it was 1.3% at the national level.
The curing rate was 97.18% in the Telangana state against 96.76% in the country as of now.
Presently the delta variant cases are also being reported in most parts of the country.

Which is a matter of concern as health officials say, this cannot be taken lightly like the second wave.
Many cases have been reported of delta variants in Telangana state as well.
The delta variant of the Covid-19 could be the first step towards the third wave of the covid-19 pandemic.
In view of the new variant of covid-19 the Telangana government has also decided to not to open schools for the children till further notice. and permitted only online classes from 1st July
