Telangana Cabinet to make stronger clinical foundations

Hyderabad: Telangana Cabinet to make stronger claim to the health infrastructure of Telangana and to provide better medical care to the people of Telangana state, the State government has decided to come up with an action plan.

A Cabinet sub-committee has been established to review the conditions of government civil hospitals in the state and as well as study the best practices in other States and also the neighboring countries of Sri Lanka, to submit a report with necessary suggestions.

The Cabinet sub-committee was chaired by Finance Minister of Telangana T Harish Rao, with comprise Ministers G Jagadish Reddy, Talsani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, V Srinivas Goud, P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Satyavathi Rathod as the committee members.

The sub-committee will visit Tamil Nadu state and Kerala state which are providing best medical services in the country as well as the committee will be visiting Sri Lanka, to acquire the infra from the state and the country and to submit a comprehensive report suggesting necessary actions to be taken to  improve the medical and healthcare in the State of Telangana.

The committee will also review and study the condition of the government hospitals and will make recommendations to modify the facilities, staff and other infrastructure.

As earlier decided in the meeting chaired by the CM KCR about the more diagnostic centers in the government hospitals with latest technologies and machines the committee will also be focusing on the implementation and installation of the 19 new diagnostic centers in the districts of Telangana. The 19 diagnostic centers will have services as follows: ECG, digital X-ray, ultrasound, 2D Echo and other tests as well as mammogram machinery. And also for the treatment of allergic diseases, individual centers will be installed in Hyderabad, Warangal and Siddipet
