Let’s start off with sad news from the Tollywood film industry as the veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana breathed his last today at the age of 87 in Hyderabad. Kaikala entered the industry with the movie ‘Sipai Kuturu.’ and has starred in more than 770 movies in his career spanning over 55 years.

Vijay’s fans are expressing their disappointment over the high ticket rates for the audio launch function of ‘Varisu’ which is scheduled to happen in Chennai on December 24. Taking to Twitter, Vijay fans stated that the ticket cost is around Rs 7000 which is quite high and some others even complained that the fan club members are selling the same tickets in black at higher rates.

Unni Mukundan’s upcoming movie ‘Malikappuram’ is all set to hit the big screens on December 30. The film is directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar and is touted to be a feel-good drama.

The makers of ‘Kantara’ reportedly announced that a sequel or prequel for the movie is on cards but it will take a couple of months for the final confirmation as Rishab Shetty is away.
