Bollywood’s beloved duo, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, are eagerly anticipating parenthood.
The couple is expecting their first child, with Deepika presumably in her second trimester. According to India Today, the baby is expected to arrive in September this year.
The couple shared their pregnancy news through a heartwarming Instagram post adorned with doodles of baby clothing and balloons, captioned with “September 2024”.
Fellow industry peers such as Vikrant Massey, Shreya Ghoshal, Kriti Sanon, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Aahana Kumra, and Angad Bedi extended their heartfelt congratulations to the couple upon receiving the wonderful news.
Rumors of Padukone’s possible pregnancy sparked when she was seen concealing her midriff in a dazzling saree at the recent British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) red carpet.

Previously, the couple garnered attention for their candid exchange with filmmaker and producer Karan Johar on the show “Koffee with Karan 8.” Deepika Padukone reminisced about the period when she and Ranveer Singh were in a relationship.
“I was single while he had just ended a relationship. I preferred being single for a bit after some challenging relationships,” she shared. In the initial stages of dating, they agreed to keep their options open, but Padukone consistently gravitated back to him.
Deepika noted there was no formal commitment prior to Ranveer’s proposal. In contrast, Singh revealed he recognized Padukone as “the one” after just six months of dating.
