‘Kuttey’ first look starring Arjun Kapoor, Tabu is out; netizens can’t wait for the film – Times of India

Tabu who’s still in the news for her act in ‘Drishyam 2’ and the phenomenal success of the film has left netizens in awe yet again. Her first look from ‘Kuttey’ has been unveiled. Tabu can be seen playing a police officer again in this one. Netizens are loving this look of the actress and especially the tagline written in the poster of Tabu’s look. The makers have also released the first look along with the voice-overs from all the actors.

Tabu and Arjun shared the first look and wrote, “1 Haddi aur 7 Kuttey! 🦴 🐕 Let the bhasad begin” Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is also seen in a cop avatar for the film. He’s holding a gun. The voiceover in the background with his look says, “goliya sar pe maarde, matter khatam.” The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan and Kumud Mishra. Konkona is seen with blood on her face as she remarks, “Bakri hum, kutta tu, aur sher tera maalik.” Radhika can also be seen holding a gun in the poster.

The film definitely looks quirky and edgy as is evident from the title and the first look. It’s directed by Aasman Bhardwaj. Aasman is the son of ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and going by the first look of ‘Kuttey’, it seems like he’s definitely herited the ‘quirky’, ‘out of the box’ streak from his father. Vishal has also helmed the film’s music. Arjun had disclosed in an interview with Mid-day that Vishal Bhardwaj has also been an active producer on this one. Having said that, Arjun had said in the same interview that Aasman wasn’t trying to ape his father yet, there’s a reminiscence of the learnings he’s had from him. The father-son have over-lapping qualities, said Arjun.

‘Kuttey’ is set to release on January 13. Meanwhile, Arjun is currently shooting for a romantic comedy with Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar.
