Telangana: Karimnagar district, which is the home to many Telangana sentiment and statehood movement, is back in sharpen focus with these days political developments involving bounced health minister Eatala Rajender of TRS party as byelection for Huzurabad’s assembly constituency within the district looks like imminent with Eatala’s Resigning as an MLA of TRS party on Friday.
While Eatala Rajender is ready to come out with all blazing and winning the bypoll of Huzurabad at all the costs, the TRS party of TS will go at full throttle to defeat the Former Health Minister Eatala Rajender who has always been winning the seat since 2009. Karimnagar city gave a bad response to the TRS in 2019 general elections when BJP’s Bandi Sanjay Kumar from KNR, who is now state party president of BJP, won the Lok Sabha seat by defeating the sitting MP B Vinod Kumar.
Experts said that the district had several leaders who were also vocal during the statehood movement and Huzurabad bypoll will surely be seen as the battle between the activists. “The BJP party deployed another Telangana ideologue Swamy Goud, who is former legislative council chairman, to the Eatala into the saffron party equals up everything as to which the way they wind is blowing,” an expert said.

The Karimnagar city parliamentary seat was once represented by the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao. The forthcoming Bypolls may assumes significant for the BJP party as well for almost its chief Bandi Sanjay represents the Lok Sabha seat now. Ever since Eatala Rajender who was dropped from the KCR cabinet, Huzurabad also became a focal point for both the parties TRS and BJP. Although Eatala Rajender was supposed to join the BJP party much earlier, there was some hesitancy in both the party and the minister over the byelection results.

Eatala Rajender is expected to meet the governor of TS Tamilisai Soundarajan on Saturday morning.
