IPL 2021: The Remainder of the IPL matches will resume in September – October Window in United Arab Emirates Which BCCI Has Confirmed
The Special meeting was chaired by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly today by which the decision has been taken and confirmed by the BCCI.
Citing to the covid-19 rise in April the IPL 2021 was canceled for the time being, Also citing the issue of rainfall during the month of September in India So it was not possible to host that’s the reason BCCI has taken the decision to shift the tournament from India to UAE, its been circulated that the start of the IPL 2021 Might be around Sept 18 -19 and might see it end by October 10 2021

As Last Season of IPL was also held in UAE behind closed doors that’s added reason for shifting it to same place, However their are multiple concern over the availability of overseas players as already stated by England that it wont allow their players to take further participation in the IPL, BCCI has Assured that they will try to resolve this issue as soon as possible
Earlier it was decided that T20 World was being planned to take place in UAE , it will be interesting to see how ICC manages the ground of UAE after a high voltage IPL Season
