Intermediate second-year results of Telangana state: TSBIE to submit the report to govt today

Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) Secretary has also  instructed to release the orders to promote all inter first-year students to second year

Hyderabad: Intermediate second year results are likely to be declared soon as the Telangana government on Monday issued the orders to cancel the exams and directed the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) to make predetermined objective criteria for declaration of results and submitting it for government’s approval.

According to one of the reports published in the Times of India, Secretary of TSBIE Syed Omer Jaleel told that the report will be submitted to the Telangana government on Tuesday. However, he refused to give detailed criteria.

On the other hand, the secretary has also been informed to issue orders to promote all the intermediate first year students to second year.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) officials have declared SSC results based on students’ performance in the formative assessment conducted within the schools.

Out of 5,21,073 candidates who have enrolled for the SSC examination, 2,10,647 candidates have secured a 10 Grade Point Average (GPA).

Committee Set up to Release Inter Second Year Results in Telangana

It might be mentioned that the Telangana government earlier declared the cancellation of intermediate second year exams in view of the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Telangana government has made the announcement around two months after cancellation of SSC and intermediate first year examinations.

The results of the intermediate students will be released soon after submission of the students’ grades in the formative or the previous year’s grades, based on that the results will be declared soon by the Telangana Government. The decisions for the degree and Engineering examination will also be taken soon after the cabinet meet in view of the Covid-19 second wave and also the start of the academic year.
