In the past 24 hours, India on Saturday registered 84,332 new cases and 4,002 deaths . As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare data, this is the lowest daily rise in cases that the country has reported in the past 70 days.
The death toll has gone up to 3,67,081, whereas the total number of cases in the country has risen to 2,93,59,155.
Here are the top five states which registered the maximum cases of Maharashtra with 11,766 cases, Karnataka with 8,249 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 8,239 cases, Tamil Nadu with 15,759 cases, followed by Kerala with 14,233 cases.

But Tamil Nadu alone is responsible for 18.69 per cent, whereas 69.07 per cent of the new cases were reported from these five states.
