Hyderabad woman murdered in Australia, body found in wheelie bin, husband flees to India.

Chaithanya was reportedly murdered by her husband, who then traveled to Hyderabad and entrusted their child to her parents.

A 36-year-old woman named Chaithanya Madhagani from Hyderabad was tragically murdered in Australia. Following this heinous act, her husband, the alleged perpetrator, fled to Hyderabad, where he entrusted their child to the care of her parents.

Her body was found in a wheelie bin on the side of a road in Buckley on Saturday, according to reports. Chaithanya and her husband Ashok Raj Varikuppala, along with their son had settled in Point Cook, Australia, after becoming Australian citizens.

Upon learning about the incident, Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy, the representative of Chaithanya’s constituency, personally met with her parents. At their behest, he penned a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) urging for the repatriation of the victim’s remains to Hyderabad.

The Legislator informed PTI that, upon the woman’s parents’ request, he penned a letter to the MEA seeking the repatriation of her remains to Hyderabad.

The MLA further said according to the information provided by her parents, their son-in-law “confessed” to having killed their daughter.

The husband of the deceased travelled to Hyderabad and entrusted the care of their child to his in-laws.

Victoria Police announced on March 9 that Homicide Squad detectives are probing the discovery of a deceased individual near Winchelsea in Buckley. The body was found on Mount Pollock Road around midday as per the statement on their website.

A second crime scene has been set up at a residential address on Mirka Way in Point Cook, suspected to be linked to the homicide. Investigators consider the death suspicious. Initial findings suggest that the individuals involved have a prior acquaintance, and the perpetrator might have fled abroad, as stated in the report.
