Hyderabad News: Dalit, The all-party meeting which was held by Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) with one accord on Sunday decided to release Rs. 10 lakh in financial support to the bank accounts of the Dalit recipients under CM Dalit Empowerment Scheme.

For this, the all-party gathering under the leadership of chief minister KCR decided to allocate Rs. 1200 crore for the CM Empowerment Programme and to give financial support directly to the bank accounts of the allowed Dalit recipients to their bank accounts, the same way how it is done in the case of Telangana’s Rythu Bandhu scheme for the farmers.
The meeting was held by CM KCR after the death of a Dalit woman in lock-up from Karimnagar came to light.
It was raised by the Congress legislative party leader and Madhira MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka last week.
In the first place of the scheme, 100 families from Telangana’s hundred Assembly seats will be allotted the financial support.
From all over the state, the support would be given to the eligible 11,900 families selected, says the statement from CM KCR’s office.
The requested CM Dalit Empowerment Plan would bring in the better change in the lives of Dalits soon and the schemes launched by CM KCR and his thoughts on the community have become a role model for the country added the statement.

In the meeting, CM KCR stated that an all-party gathering was convened to make stakeholders stand united by the Dalits and to “revoke” their subordinated culture from the society in order to bring in better change in their lives.
Talking during the gathering, CM KCR said that it is a patch on Indian culture that Dalits are exposed to social and financial separations. This is profoundly troubling to all.
