HYDERABAD: The nephew of an All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen corporator died at a Hyderabad hospital after he was attacked by a person at his office in Lalitha Bagh area of the old city.
Bhavani Nagar inspector Md Amjad Ali said that the identity of the accused has not been ascertained.
Santosh Nagar ACP S Reddy said, “We received information this evening that a 22-year-old boy has been attacked. The boy was shifted to Owaisi hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. People told us that two persons attacked him with a sharp-edged knife.”
Probe is under way, he added.
